4.1 [Preliminary Work] Thesis 1: Major Project / Thesis Materials
When I was creating user flow, I still chose to draw it with a pen. Because I think this allows me to have more ideas when I create. First I opened my contract, because the contract has detailed records of what I need to do. I followed the instructions on the contract to organize the pages. The first thing to start with is the homepage, but I considered that many apps also have a splash screen, which is the first page that users see when they open the app. Generally, the splash screen is used to display the logo and brand concept of the overall app, so that users can have a deeper impression of their brand and have a good sense of smoothness. Therefore, I also considered splash screen when creating user flow. I have divided the content on the home page into five main categories, which correspond to the specific content I wrote in the contract. Based on these five different categories, I consider sustainable clothing e-commerce as the core function of my app. Therefore, from my flow, I can see that the final directions in other categories can be navigated to the e-commerce function.
Also, I improved my thesis logo. Because I want to be able to express more clearly that my graphics are cotton and not clouds or other things. For this week’s color test, I considered it based on my target audience and my overall goal statement. I selected more than 20 young Chinese women to conduct a relevant questionnaire survey this week, and chose three color combinations based on their answers and opinions on sustainable clothing. Of course I will continue my color exploration.
