2.1 [Work in Progress] Thesis 1: Major Project / Thesis Materials

This week I worked on naming the thesis and creating the visual system idea. I mainly focus on combining English and Chinese pronunciation in the name, because the target users of my thesis are Chinese residents, so I think it is necessary to combine some Chinese characteristics in the name. For example, "BU(布)" means "cloth" in Chinese, and "ZHUO(着)" means "wear" in Chinese. I think as a Chinese user it should be easy to understand my thoughts. In the sketches, I also combined English and Chinese shapes and did some exploration. In addition, I also used semiotic methods to do some sketches. I hope that I can refine the best visual system during the subsequent thesis work. If the instructor has any questions about my skteches, you can ask me at any time. In addition, in the Journey map, I chose a 23-year-old white-collar female. This is one of the personas I created last semester. Her characteristics were within my target audience so I chose her to draw the journey map.
